2012 is here and it’s time for the 65th anniversary of the annual NTHS congress. The NTHS congress is held in Norway this year, and is as every year about Scandinavian students in marine engineering and Naval Architecture getting to know each other and the industry in which they are to end up in.

Keeping this in mind, we, Mannhullet is therefore proud to hereby formally, and without further ado, honorably invite you to the 2012 edition and 65th anniversary of the NTHS congress in the technology hubs in Ålesund and Trondheim, Norway.

We, at the Department of Marine Technology at NTNU, have worked very hard on putting together a week filled with state of the art ship design, yard facilities, and fun social happenings for you to enjoy. At the end of the congress a mind-blowing and Viking worthy Banquet will be held to mark the anniversary. During the week you will see the beautiful far west coast of Norway and all its specialized offshore ship designs, including the most student friendly town of Norway, Trondheim. There you will experience the top notch research facilities at NTNU along with even more of the industry Norway has to offer and show off.
